Robotics Club is dedicated to the
exploration, making and programming of Lego robots. Students will develop
skills in programming their robots to meet specific design challenges in preparation
for the annual First Lego League Challenge that is held late in the year.
The major objectives for the Robotics Club are:
1. To promote a love of robots
within Mitchelton State School.
2.To engage the children in computer
programming and problem solving activities to encourage creativity and
initiative.
3. To encourage participation in
STEM activities in Mitchelton State School.
4.To liaise with external Robotics
clubs.
Children from Grades 4 -6 may join the
Robotics Club.
