BYOD stands for ’Bring Your Own Device’. For Mitchelton State School specifically it means "Bring Your Own Windows 11 Device". This program permits students to bring their own device, if it meets minimum specifications, to school to support and further their education
Our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program will to enhance their learning experience by integrating student's own devices into the classroom. This will empower our students with the digital literacy, critical thinking, and creativity essential for the 21st-century workforce.
All students in Year 4 will need to use a laptop starting 2025. You will need to contact BYOD support at
BYODSupport@mitcheltonss.eq.edu.au if you aren't able to supply a laptop so that the school can arrange alternatives.
